50 Hour Bhakti Yoga Teaher Training Course at Suan Sati
“There are those who give with joy, and that joy is their reward.” —Khalil Gibran
There is a place within us that longs to sing, to pray, to bow, to remember. In the path of Bhakti Yoga, yoga becomes more than movement or philosophy. It becomes a living relationship with the sacred expressed through voice, ritual, story, and the pure offering of the heart.
Temple of the Heart is a 6-day immersive training devoted to the practices of Bhakti. Over these days we explore how devotion can move through the body, open the voice, and guide the way we hold space for others. Through sacred sound, ritual, storytelling, and embodied practice, we cultivate the courage to express what is most true within us, given as an offering, not a performance.
Join us for a soul-nourishing Bhakti Yoga Course designed to help and guide us towards remembrance of the sacredness of life. Let’s embark on an immersive journey into devotion.
Together we will cultivate our relationship to source, deepen personal practice, expand our teaching, and open our collective and individual hearts through the transformative power of sound, movement, and intention.
This 50-hour immersion blends ancient wisdom, creativity, and experiential learning, helping you gain confidence in sharing your true authentic voice through chanting, kirtan, and devotional yoga.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I have to be a yoga teacher to join this course?
You don’t have to be a yoga teacher to join this course. This training is open to yoga teachers, facilitators, musicians, and seekers who feel called to explore the path of devotion more deeply, whether through teaching, personal practice, or both. You do not have to be a Certified Yoga Teacher to join this training, all are welcome. -
Do I need to have any experience with various forms of Bhakti Yoga to join this course?
Although it would be helpful to know what Bhakti Yoga encompasses to not completely blindly head into this immersion, there is no regular experience needed. This is the invitation to drop deeper into your heart, no matter how far you’ve explored that. Maybe you have been to an event where somebody shared a mantra, mythological story, or moved through a heart centered practice, that moved something within yourself and sparked your interest - then this is the perfect opportunity to explore further. -
I see there’s a lot of mention of singing and instruments… Do I need to have any musical experience to join this course?
You do not have to have musical experience. We will pick you up from wherever you are and just guide you into further exploration of that which wants to come through. The power of Mantra goes beyond the need of instruments. -
Can I bring my own instruments / harmonium? Do I need to bring my own instruments / harmonium?
Absolutely! Having your own instruments/harmonium allows you more time and space to practice in class, as well as during your free time. If it is possible to bring, we highly recommend you bring any musical tools that you feel connected to and would like to work with throughout this journey.
However, we understand it is not always the easiest to move around with, so it is definitely not necessary to join! There is certainly no requirement to have your own instruments. We will have multiple harmoniums and various instruments to share during practice time so that everyone gets the chance to learn and grow with these tools. Regardless if you bring your own instruments or not, there will be plenty of opportunities to practice and connect deeper with offerings involving sound.
